The owners of this home called us in to do a total décor revamp to their home. They wanted to remove all existing kitsch over trendy elements to the home and give it a more classic timeless feel. We achieved this by keeping within a neutral color palette and brought in textural elements such as the book matched Onyx marble stove upstand in the kitchen and antique mirror wall cladding on the patio.
The addition of the islander style ceiling fans not only adds detail to the bland existing ceilings but they create a beautiful balmy relaxed mood too. The addition of antique furniture pieces and classic wall panelling adds an elegant soul to the home. The overall look is timeless sophistication with a relaxed tropical feel.

We worked closely with the home owner to complete the interior decor of their new build home.
We worked with existing furniture pieces which had sentimental value to the client and made these pieces work harmoniously with newer pieces within a contemporary setting. Being a coastal home set on the north coast of Kwa-Zulu Natal, our color palette for the décor took its inspiration from the hues of the sea and surrounding greenery of the the beautiful Milkwoods.
Although the home is a new build, the overall look we wanted to achieve was that of a cosy lived in family home, which I feel was achieved, giving the spaces a laid back coastal living aesthetic.
