FARMHOME SALT ROCK

A coastal farmhouse located in Salt Rock, Kwa-Zulu Natal. We were appointed by the clients to redesign the entire interior of the home. The renovation began with a full interior demolishing including the roof, interior walls (excluding the bedroom wing) and all cabinetry. We designed all the custom cabinetry such as the kitchen, bar, built-in cupboards etc and included a full specification service for all the interior finishes such as floors, walls, lighting, sanitary ware and ceilings.
We project managed the implementation of the build and interior fit out and completed the home with a full décor & styling service.
With the owners being 6th generation on the farm, it was very important to us to capture the history of the farmhouse and we achieved this by utilising many of the families heirloom pieces amongst the new pieces, all working harmoniously to create a soulful home. We are so very proud of this home.

We worked closely with the home owner to complete the interior decor of their new build home.
We worked with existing furniture pieces which had sentimental value to the client and made these pieces work harmoniously with newer pieces within a contemporary setting. Being a coastal home set on the north coast of Kwa-Zulu Natal, our color palette for the décor took its inspiration from the hues of the sea and surrounding greenery of the the beautiful Milkwoods.
Although the home is a new build, the overall look we wanted to achieve was that of a cosy lived in family home, which I feel was achieved, giving the spaces a laid back coastal living aesthetic.
