OGILVY DURBAN
Completed June 2015 | Commercial
We were very excited to be approached by Ogilvy Dbn to design and implement the installation of a new kitchen and bar revamp.
The design language of this revamp needed to compliment the warehouse feel of their office space. We achieved this by creating an industrial look to the new kitchen by designing the units as freestanding and manufacturing them in s/steel with a 2k paint finish. The s/steel counter tops add to the industrial concept and give an edgy feel to this kitchen. Elements such as the copper piping wall unit, collection of exposed vintage edison bulbs, metal piping foot rail on the bar and chevron reclaimed timber cladding of the bar add to this industrial edgy feel.
We painted the back wall a dark charcoal colour to add drama and create mood in this space.

HOME SHADOWS
We worked closely with the home owner to complete the interior decor of their new build home.
We worked with existing furniture pieces which had sentimental value to the client and made these pieces work harmoniously with newer pieces within a contemporary setting. Being a coastal home set on the north coast of Kwa-Zulu Natal, our color palette for the décor took its inspiration from the hues of the sea and surrounding greenery of the the beautiful Milkwoods.
Although the home is a new build, the overall look we wanted to achieve was that of a cosy lived in family home, which I feel was achieved, giving the spaces a laid back coastal living aesthetic.
