We wanted to bring the heart and soul of the magical Zambezi into the interior design of this private game lodge nestled on the banks of the Zambezi River.
Steering away from the neutrals of a ‘typical african bush lodge’ aesthetic, we found inspiration within the various shades of the green color palette of the river and its surroundings as well as the glorious birdlife found in this beautiful paradise. The main lodge area received a full building renovation to include a new bar amongst various lounging areas and opening up the interior spaces to the external ones to create a seamless flow of inside and outside and taking advantage of the majestic views of the river.
A décor update was given to the luxury suite rooms. The result being a project which we are extremely proud of.

We worked closely with the home owner to complete the interior decor of their new build home.
We worked with existing furniture pieces which had sentimental value to the client and made these pieces work harmoniously with newer pieces within a contemporary setting. Being a coastal home set on the north coast of Kwa-Zulu Natal, our color palette for the décor took its inspiration from the hues of the sea and surrounding greenery of the the beautiful Milkwoods.
Although the home is a new build, the overall look we wanted to achieve was that of a cosy lived in family home, which I feel was achieved, giving the spaces a laid back coastal living aesthetic.
